Hi I lived at number 10 Sheep Street next to the Abattior from 1950 till 1963. There was a car repairers with a fenced gated storage/parking for cars, also at the lower end was a knife sharpening van parking garage. I remember the clinic and also Curl Hall where they had various clubs. Who owned the shop on the corner of Lawrence street and Sheep Street.

Hi

My Nan Elizabeth (Liza) Round lived in Lawrence Street literally until it as demolished and moved to Flat in Rupert St Nechells.  No sure of the number she lived at, but I would pop and see her with my mum in the late 60s on way back from Sheep St School Clinic.  We would pop to the local pub and buy her a bottle of Stout! Im sure her husband Ivan committed suicide by gassing himself.  Not sure if any one would remember this?
