    Is actually in Nechells, Not Aston as the caption
    on the picture shows,

I once did a pub crawl starting at the bear and staff, selly oak, the weoley castle,highlander,woodcock,balmoral,bale of hay,[censored],hobsons choice,woodgate valley s&s,and scarlet pimpernel,
and didn't have a pint all day
it's not much fun photographing pubs for an hobby
one for you

There's a lot about the outsides of pubs but not a lot about the beers sold inside! Let's talk about the beers you used to drink.

Sorry I was never a beer drinker though I did experiment with lots to try to find one I liked and the nearest I came to it was Watneys Red Barrel at least I think that was the name.

tony armstrong (jones?), to me mild had bags more flavour than the bitters. If we're talking about Black Country ales you couldn't do better than Simpkiss or Bathams. Aahhhh...........Brierley Hill........
